Colby Peck Plastic Smile is breathtaking. It's touching in a way that few songs are. Favorite track: Plastic Smile (Feat. Ken Johnson).
Xubiod thumbnail
Xubiod i found this via the live scroll for purchases and i can say that i feel the same about carrying a facade. Favorite track: It Comes in Waves.
theCANderson thumbnail
theCANderson The album is an absolute triumph. In parts hauntingly melodic, defiantly thrashing, quietly beautiful, and ethereally triumphant, every track pulses with life. That this beautiful soundscape came from a place of pain and the struggle to overcome it is a testament to YourEnigma's incredible skill, artistry, and bravery. My sincere thanks to the artist and everyone who supported them so that we could have this wonderful music! Favorite track: It Comes in Waves.

I've never actually used this space before, but I thought it fitting to send a little message your way if you took the time to download this little EP. It's a short one, but I can say with honesty, it is also one of the most intimate and hand-crafted releases I have made to date. There's a lot of emotion and catharsis wrapped up in these chords, but at the surface, I hope there is music within that speaks to you and resonates.

Falling, fading. Down down down I go. Falling, fading. Down down down. Down I go.
Hey Jimi 04:03
Maybe you'll think of me when you are all alone maybe the one who is waiting for you will prove untrue Then what will you do?
Climbing Out 02:08
There's a fire in melting at the bottom of the sea It was a beautiful thing All these memories trying to hold me back, but they can't see I was born to be free
Lying in Bed, sun shining through the window takes to much to just get through this Steel myself for another day Force this plastic smile to keep the questions at bay You don't care how I am So don't pretend you do The knocking at my door seems to be getting louder A search for solace, I've only found peace in silence Sweetly slipping now, the room is slowly getting darker I couldn't save myself But you saw through it all, this darkness tends to gnaw You saved me from the fall, because you've been through it all.

We all walk around wearing a mask of our choosing. For the longest time, mine was a plastic smile that shielded me from the loving scrutiny of those who cared about me most. Like every facade, it was only a matter of time before the cracks started to show.

Thank God they did.

I want to give a tremendous thanks to the many friends family and fans who kept me tethered and lucid during the period of time which inspired this album. It meant the world and it still does.
